French-Canadian Actor stars in Chameleon

6c98.jpgFrench-Canadian actor Marc-Andre Grondin, Ellen Barkin and Famke Janssen will star in “The Chameleon,” a psychological thriller based on a true story.

The film was inspired by a profile in the New Yorker, “The Chameleon: The Many Lives of Frederic Bourdin.” Bourdin assumed at least 39 identities, three of them missing teens.

As the central character, Grondin, who appeared in the Canadian film “C.R.A.Z.Y.” and in Steven Soderbergh’s “Che,” is making his English-language debut, as is the feature’s director, French filmmaker Jean-Paul Salome…Reuters reports.
